Three dogs are trapped in the underworld, but through a lovely smell they manage to escape. One of them is able to transform into a man because of the smell of his lover, and they can finally be together again.
This animation was developed in an advanced animation seminar during my third semester. We were supposed to be promoting an item - fictious or real - and create an animated advertisment for it.
I was really fascinated by the idea of hunting dogs who care for little else but the smell they are chasing. With that in mind I created an advertisment for a perfume.
Through the idea of hunting dogs I also got inspired by the greek myth of Hades and Persephone. I liked the idea of two lovers who were kept apart, but despite it all found their way back to each other. Feelings like that transcend any gender and sexuality which is why I decided to depict this story through a homosexual couple.

Tu'er Shen, also known as the rabbit God, is a Chinese deity who is the patron saint of love and sex between men.
This work depicts a secret society that worships
Tu'er Shen. In a world where knowledge about being LGBTQA+ is still barely
accessible, we have to rely strongly on our community and their stories. Coming out to fellow queer people and sharing experiences is something powerful and necessary in order to keep queer history alive. The secret bunny society depicts a safe space and companionship queer people often seek out in places other than family, work or school.
This work is one of my first short animations. and it combines stop motion and 2D animation.
